We are Voja Travel
Voja Travel is a travel company with a mission: to make travel a force for good. We were founded in response to the negative effects of mass tourism, such as environmental damage and the exploitation of local communities. We believe there’s a better way.
That’s why we focus on authentic, locally rooted travel experiences that benefit both travelers and the places they visit. We specialize in unique island destinations, including Cape Verde, the Azores, Madeira, the Caribbean, and Iceland. Our trips are built in close collaboration with local partners to ensure a personal, responsible and unforgettable journey for every traveler.
As part of our mission, we align our work with the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations – including SDG 1 (No Poverty) through fair local partnerships, SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) via our Clean Energy Project, and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by reinvesting in local initiatives. These goals guide us in building a more equitable and sustainable travel industry.
